Top 10 Actors Originally Considered For Famous Movie Roles

#10 Will Smith (Neo In The Matrix) - Will Smith passed on the role of Neo saying thatThe Matrix was a "difficult concept to pitch." Then the Fresh Prince added a little insult to injury and decided to star in I, Robot instead.

#9 Jim Carrey (Dr. Evil In Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery) - According to IMDB, Carrey was originally cast as Dr. Evil but had to leave the film because of a scheduling conflict with Liar Liar.
#8 Kevin Costner (Bill In Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2) - K-Cos supposedly turned down the role of Bill in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 opting to direct Open Range instead. I think we should all take the time to write Kevin a letter and personally thank him for making such a horrible career decision.
#7 Sean Connery (Gandalf In The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy) - Connery reportedly turned down the role of Gandalf due to the rigorous 18-month filming schedule. Connery and his mentally challenged agent also turned down the role of Morpheus in The Matrix.
#6 Robert DeNiro (Josh Baskin In Big) - Penny Marshall originally offered the lead role in Big to Deniro instread of Tom Hanks. Poor Bobby was rejected because his six million dollar salary demand was too high and the world was spared from ever having to see Deniro and Robert Loggia dance on a giant piano together.
#5 Jean Claude Van Damme (Predator In Predator) - JCVD was originally cast as the Predator creature. Once the director compared him to Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers and Jessie Ventura it became apparent that a "taller" man was needed to make the creature appear more threatening. Van Damme also allegedly complained on numerous occasions that he would not appear on camera without the suit in the film.
#4 Nick Nolte (Han Solo In The Star Wars Trilogy) - Nolte was one of four finalists (Christopher Walken, Burt Reynolds and Harrison Ford were the others) for the role of Han Solo and he apparently lost the role at the last minute. Thankfully Harrison Ford was offered the part instead and Nolte went on to do 48 Hours.
#3 Tom Selleck (Indiana Jones In Raiders Of The Lost Ark) - Selleck was originally cast as Indiana Jones, but was unable to take the role because he already committed to Magnum P.I. Selleck eventually did an episode that parodied Raiders of the Lost Ark complete with hat, whip and booby traps.
#2 Bill Murray (Bruce Wayne In Batman) - Murray was one of the frontrunners to play the Caped Crusader when the studio originally wanted to create a big screen replica of the 1960s TV version starring Adam West. Bill was eventually removed from consideration once director Tim Burton took the helm of the movie and brought Beetlejuice with him.
#1 OJ Simpson (The Terminator) - "The Juice" was originally considered for the role of the Terminator, but James Cameron and the producers finally decided that Simpson was "too nice" to be taken seriously as a cold-blooded
killer. I think they call that irony.

Did you know that mangoes can enhance your Marijuana high? It may sound strange, but it all comes down to chemical interactions within your body.

Marijuana and mangoes both contain a terpene chemical called Myrcene. This chemical helps the psychoactives in Cannabis cross the blood-brain barrier more efficiently.

Lower quality strains of Marijuana generally do not have as much Myrcene as higher quality strains. So in order to enhance the quality of your weed, increase the amount of Myrcene in your body.

This is easily done by eating mangoes. Next time you’re at the grocery store, buy some and give it a shot. Mangoes also have various health benefits including: antioxidant & anticancer properties, good vitamin content, high iron content, and tryptophan – a precursor of serotonin.

To enhance your high:
Try eating a mango 60 minutes prior to smoking/vaping. When you are taking hits, the high should come on a lot quicker. The overall high should also be stronger and possibly longer lasting.

To enhance length of your high:
Get high, then eat a mango. Eating mangoes for munchies can definitely lengthen the amount of time being stoned. This is really nice for many of us with high tolerances to Marijuana.

Experiment:
Everyone is different. If 1 mango doesn’t do the trick, try 2 next time. Be creative – making a mango smoothie would be delicious and should speed up the delivery time to your bloodstream.

South Park is in Hot Water ... Again

(Author's note: While the photo above does depict Mohammed dressed up as a cute bear mascot as was shown on last week's episode of South Park, we at Two Bowls For Breakfast are using it in no way to insult or defame Mohammed. We enjoy our heads too much to create that kind of stir. So we'll just keep making fun of other religions that only threaten litigation when you make fun of their prophets. You're welcome.)

According to this article from CNN.com, Trey Parker and Matt Stone have something coming to them. The radical Islamic Web site ("radical" meaning extreme and potentially dangerous, not "awesome" or "tubular" or "gnarly") Revolutionmuslim.com - the same site that supported a jihad against the West and praised Osama Bin Laden - issued a statement about the creators of South Park. In it, they criticized Stone and Parker for airing the episode which featured Mohammed in said bear costume and warned of violent actions against them.

Call it what you will, but I'm crossing the folks at Revolutionmusliim.com off my Arbor Day card recipient list. That kind of threat, along with posting Parker and Stone's addresses as well as a taped sermon encouraging violence against all who defame Mohammed, just proves that the world would be a better place if everyone listened to a little Bob Marley ... and chilled the fuck out.

How to Cook Bacon with a Machine Gun (Fixed)

Finally someone has come up with a way to kill zombies and cook your bacon at the same time. All you need is bacon, tin foil, some string, and a fully-automatic 7.62mm machine gun.
First wrap the barrel in foil, then wrap that in bacon, followed by the string, more foil, then string again.
After the first couple of shots you'll notice the familiar smell of delicious bacon cooking.
The shooter guesses the bacon is fully cooked at around 150 rounds.
If you like your bacon crispy like I do, he recommends firing off another 100.

Ouch Pins

Truth be told, there was a lot of creativity behind this sad invention. Using pins or needles placed on the shirt collar was a pretty creative technique found to ensure that the pompous Chinese military parades were flawless. After all, who would (literally) want to risk their neck during the Olympic Games' year? All for those perfect, synchronized movements. Like the old animal trainers, who would inflict painful punishments to bears and elephants that misbehaved, these young soldiers learn that anything goes, when it comes to attaining a perfect result. The only difference is that they don't get any treat as a reward.
Another ally of pins in military training is the wooden cross. It ensures that the back will , without a doubt, remain straight and elegant. When we realize that these soldiers obviously have to march, imagine a worse resistance test: neck pinned, crucified backs, and feet strongly and firmly pounding the floor.

Jason Kidd’s Pass off the Glass to Shawn Marion for the Dunk

Jason Kidd has been one of the ‘craftiest’ players and passers in the league for quite some time. And although his game is considered by most to be ‘on the decline’ due to age, he is still leading one of the top teams in the Western Conference to a legitimate chance this year at a championship.

Don’t believe Kidd has still got flash to his game? You need not look any further than last night’s late game between the Mavericks and Clippers. Jason Kidd led the Mavs brilliantly as they spanked the Paper Clips, with 12 points and 12 assists. But of all the assists he put up, this one is sure to make the highlight reels over and over and over again in season recaps. Check it out as Kidd on the break throws the no-look pass off the backboard to Shawn Marion for the huge finish:

Rasheed Wallace score for the other team

It’s a conspiracy, Rasheed Wallace must want the Bulls to make the playoffs. Rasheed Wallace is so good he scores on both nets. Sheed must have missed the memo that after half-time the teams switched ends. Mad that the Bulls again couldn’t score, Wallace thought he’d show ‘em how it is done. LOL.

All sarcasm and kidding aside, what was Rasheed Wallace doing last night on this play? Was he trying to throw the ball to himself off the backboard? I don’t understand what he could have been thinking about, other than a minor brain glitch where he thought he was offensive rebounding and had such good position that he could make the easy bucket off the put back. Didn’t take him long to realize his mistake though, as he ducked his head in shame. Rightfully so Sheed. That one is going to make blooper reels for years to come:

Art made from joint filters

An artist from Pittsburgh named Cliff Maynard is making portraits by using marijuana filters. The portraits are of famous people like Bob Marley, Snoop Dog and John Lennon, to mention a few. It’s not easy to make such a portrait and it takes about 200 hours to complete one, and it’s certainly not cheap (or legal?), one portrait will cost you $2,000.

Snakes!

Most people fear snakes and don’t want to even look at them. Still they are fascinating reptiles in different colors and lengths. The photographer Guido Mocafico saw the beauty in them, and took amazing shots of them that it almost looks like detailed paintings.
